EB ACCOUNTAX CONSULTANTS, INC., doing business as, EB TAX CONSULTANTS, was founded and established by ERNIE Z. BUSTAMANTE, Chairman/CEO, in February of 1991. After a few years of business operations, ERNIE organized EB Accounting LLC and EB Paychecks Services, Inc. to meet the needs of our growing business clientele. We are presently maintaining books of accounts, preparing paychecks, online payments of payroll and sales taxes for single proprietorships, partnerships, corporations-“C”, “Sub-S” & “LLC”, such as restaurants, deli grocery stores, construction companies, jewelry stores, medical offices, car /taxi services, lawyers/real estate offices, internet/online sales, office cleaning services, insurance services, fish dealers, bakery stores, etc. that initially includes clients in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, Queens and Bronx counties of New York City but later on expanded nationwide to include other U.S. States as well. This is achieved with highly- experienced, dedicated and motivated family staff headed by the father and his three sons, namely, EDWIN, EDDIE and ERIC, all college graduates, major in accounting, from reputable business schools and all of them with PTIN and NYTPRIN as required by the Internal Revenue Service and New York States respectively to practice as Tax Preparers. We attend the required continuing education and training to obtain at least 35 credits yearly, more than mandated, to keep abreast of the most recent tax laws and changing market conditions. Our expertise and experience are complemented with business software that is very reliable and responsive to our needs to maximize and efficiently address our clients’ needs.
We offer reasonable, affordable and competitive pricings with no hidden fees. All pricings are itemized and based on a per schedule/item basis thus the lesser the schedules/items, the lower our fees to be charged. We maintain our same pricing for the past three years. We give discount to senior citizen.
In order to better serve our long-time valued clients as well as our potential clients, especially senior citizen, we have moved to a bigger and better office located on a much lower entire second floor. This will create a business-like environment that can conveniently accommodate and meet the demand of our growing clientele through the continued referrals of our satisfied clients, of which we greatly appreciated. We maintain our office location at 5403 Fifth Avenue, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11220 for the past 30 years. We are open year-round and we are here when you need us for your tax inquiries and accounting/payroll requirements.
Our administrative assistant/secretary can cater to Spanish/Latino speaking clientele. The additional manpower complement is one of our planned initiatives to resolve and considerably cut-back the long lines of clients patiently waiting for turns to be served, especially during the initial five weeks of the tax season. Ernie Z. Bustamante, Chairman/CEO of EB Tax Consultants, EB Paychecks Services, Inc. and EB Accounting LLC and practicing as Accounting and Tax Consultant. ERNIE graduated in college with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), major in Accounting in 1951. He held several executive positions of big corporations in the Philippines as Bookkeeper, Chief Accountant, Treasurer / Comptroller and General Manager. In 1973, ERNIE entered into a 5-year management contract with an American company, Precision Overseas Woodwork Engineering Resources Limited (POWER), with base of operation in Kowloon, Hong Kong, as Production Manager/Accountant to manage the operations of Davao Timber Corporation’s Woods Processing & Sales Division, in Davao City, Philippines, to manufacture doors and furniture pieces for export to European countries. In December, 1978, the Ministry of the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Philippines, thru the recommendation of the Philippine Chamber of Furniture Industries, selected ERNIE as one of the 15-Member Mission in the 6th Philippine Trade Mission, from January 13 to February 3, 1979, to the European Economic Community to promote and sell doors and furniture products. In January, 1982, ERNIE went to the U.S. and was employed full-time job at Jules D. Michaels Day Care Center, Inc., from April, 1982 to July, 2000, as Administrative Director in-charge of fiscal/budget matters and USDA Program, while worked part-time job as tax preparer and bookkeeper of individuals & small businesses. After eighteen years of dedicated service as Administrative Director of Jules D Michaels DCC, ERNIE retired to devote his full-time job as Accounting and Tax Professional to service the income tax and bookkeeping needs of individuals, partnerships and corporations in all five boroughs of New York City. ERNIE is an active member of National Society of Accountants (NSA) National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and New York State Independent Accountants (NYSIA).
Edwin B. Bustamante, EA, President of EB Tax Consultants and practicing as Enrolled Agent/Tax Professional and Senior Accountant in-charge of Income Tax Returns. EDWIN just passed the IRS three-part Special Enrollment Examination as Enrolled Agent (EA), the highest credential the IRS awards to Tax Professionals that specialize in taxation. As Enrolled Agent, EDWIN is licensed to represent taxpayers during tax audits or in collection matters before IRS for resolving difficult tax matters. EDWIN graduated in college with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), major in Accounting in 1993. EDWIN has extensive experience in income tax preparations and bookkeeping. He was formerly bookkeeper of a Day Care Center in Manhattan, New York for more than 15 years. EDWIN is in charge of income tax returns of individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trust and tax-exempt organizations. EDWIN is an active member of National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), New York State Society of Enrolled Agents (NYSSEA), National Society of Accountants (NSA) and National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
Eddie B. Bustamante, President of EB Paychecks Services, Inc. and practicing as Senior Accountant in charge of Payroll Checks of Businesses and Tax Professional. EDDIE had a vast knowledge in the field of banking in the Philippines as Bank Operations Manager, Cluster Branch Accountant, Branch Cashier, Accounting Supervisor and General Accounting Bookkeeper at Allied Banking Corporation now Philippine National Bank (PNB) from 1989 to 2006. His job included sales monitoring, trial balance/general ledger preparation and strict accounting/audit implementation of bank policy operations and guidelines. In the U.S., he worked with Clark Construction Corporation as Accounts Receivable/Payroll Clerk from 2006 to 2009. Eddie graduated in college with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), major in Accounting in 1989. EDDIE is currently reviewing to take the Enrolled Agent (EA) examinations. EDDIE is presently in-charge of bookkeeping, preparation of clients’ employees payroll paychecks, payroll/sales tax online payment/filing, as well as, income tax preparations of individuals and corporations. EDDIE is an active member of National Society of Accountants (NSA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP).
Eric B. Bustamante, EA, President of EB Accounting LLC and practicing as Enrolled Agent/Tax Professional and Senior Accountant in-charge of Accounting/Bookkeeping and Tax Audits/Cases. ERIC is presently taking the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examinations and already successfully passed three sections of the required four sections. ERIC is scheduled to take the remaining one section to become a licensed CPA. ERIC just passed the IRS three-part Special Examination as Enrolled Agent (EA), the highest credential the IRS awards to Tax Professionals that specialize in taxation. As Enrolled Agent, ERIC is licensed to represent taxpayers during tax audits or collection matters before the IRS for resolving difficult tax matters. He graduated in college with the major in Accounting in 1991. Eric had a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), major in Accounting, and extensive experiences in the field of banking in the Philippines from 1992 to 2012. ERIC started his job as Loans Supervisor at Far East Bank and Trust Company and later as a Branch Operating Officer at Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, one of the top and largest bank in the Philippines with international branch in Manhattan, New York. After a few years, ERIC was promoted to Branch Manager/Branch Head and finally appointed as Senior Manager/Cluster Sales Head in charge of supervising and monitoring five bank branches’ annual budget performance in terms of sales generation and marketing portfolio. ERIC is presently in-charge of financial reports and planning, analysis of business operations, banking requirements and income tax preparations of individuals and corporations. ERIC is an active member of National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), New York State Society of Enrolled Agents (NYSSEA) and National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
